Formerly a working pump house, used to drain excess water from the The Mother Drain, dug in 1790, into The River Idle, it has been transformed into a stunning, contemporary art studio and holiday let. Settled in the village of Misterton in northern Nottinghamshire. Take a stroll down into the village of Misterton to discover all you need for your self-catered stay, including a Co-op, several takeaways, a great fish and chip shop and a pub, or amble off road along The River Idle to The Haxey Inn for the Sunday carvery.
